The ACT is responsible for maintaining a sanitary, humane environment and providing basic care for the animals with compassion and dedication.
The hours will be scheduled between 9am- 6 pm during 4 weekdays (M-F) and then Saturday 9:
00-1:
00pm; however, applicants should have a flexible schedule.
The work will be 10-15 hours a week.
Weekends and some holidays are required for this position.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to apply, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, have a clean driving record, be authorized to work in the United States, and be able to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Prioritize compassionate and humane care of animals -Ensure proper cleaning and disinfecting of the kennels, cages, floors, and walls - Ensure proper care, feeding, and watering of animals - Interact with animals in a safe, humane, and respectful manner - Remain alert and aware of animal health and conduct - Ensure all areas are neat and clean - Exemplify exceptional customer service - Engage customers with enthusiasm and professionalism - As needed, Transport animals to vet clinics and/or adoption centers Job Types:
