The Weekend Group Home Caregiver position works in a group home setting in Georgetown, providing caregiver services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Job duties for this position administering medications, preparing meals, transporting clients, working on independent living skills, and prompting clients with cleanliness in the home.
Ideal candidates will possess the ability to communicate well with clients and fellow staff members, complete required documentation with basic Microsoft Office functions in a timely manner, and ensure the best quality of support and care for the clients in their home.
This part-time position helps to fill weekends which consist of a schedule of Friday 6:
00pm-Sunday 6:
00pm, during which staff provide the previously mentioned supports for clients and sleep in private rooms over the weekend.
Employees in this position typically work 1-2 weekends monthly, but have opportunities for additional hours as well.
Employee benefits include a 401K retirement plan with matching employer funds, paid training, and opportunities for overtime.
This position starts at $500 each weekend.
Candidates must be 21 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass a drug screen and background check.
