As a Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients in their home by assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating home nursing care needs of assigned patients.
The Nurse will also educate and advise patients and their families in how to get the most from their treatment programs.
QUALIFICATIONS Is a graduate of an accredited school of professional (registered) nursing.
Is currently licensed as an RN through the State Board of Nursing.
At least two year's general nursing experience is required with current hospice, home health, medical, surgical or critical care experience.
Has experience with providing good pain management, IV skills preferred.
Skilled in nursing practice, able to cope with family emotional stress and tolerant of individual lifestyles.
Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.
Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct by delivering care in a manner that protects and preserves the patients dignity, rights, values, beliefs, privacy and autonomy Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health.
Has presented a negative TB skin test and/or CXR and other tests as required by the organization's policy.
Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
Possesses and maintains current CPR certification (online CPR certification is not acceptable).
Satisfactory references from nursing school, previous (or current) employers and/or professional peers.
Observant, good nursing judgment and communication skills.
The ability to provide well-written documentation in a timely manner.
Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation and has ability to work within a team.
