2nd Shift Diesel Engine/Allison Transmission Mechanic (Georgetown, KY) 2nd Shift Diesel Engine/Allison Transmission Mechanic (Georgetown, KY) SUMMARY Perform all technical duties of a technician in overhauling and maintaining diesel engines and automatic transmissions used to operate trucks, generators, and other equipment by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Inspect engine or transmission for conformance to standard. Diagnose cause of nonconformance. Identify corrective action necessary to correct non-conformance. Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring. Obtains parts from stock. Cleans tools and working area. Paper work and/or R/O documentation. Basic computer literacy and good verbal communication skills Performs other routine duties. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Commercial Drivers License (CDL) preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
